Please be sure to keep checking the WWII Freedom1.org website for fund raising times and dates.
Challenge! The ladies of the Mary Magdalene class have pledged $500 to the mortgage retirement fund and have challenged all other church groups and classes to match them. A BIG thank you to our newest member Tony Richardson for doing the job no one wanted: Cleaning the kitchen stove. It looks great. Thanks again. Altar Guild members needed. We need Altar Guild members to share duties for March and November. Please contact Diana to volunteer - 362-2549. We Need Your Pictures! Pastor is putting together a DVD (similar to the Memorial Day DVD) as a welcome to visitors to show all of the things that go on at LCRL. Bring your pics of activities and events to the office to be scanned in. If you get a chance please go by and see the newly refurbished Memorial Prayer Room if you have not already done so. A special thanks goes out to the Mary Magdalene Class, the LCRL Women and to everyone who has helped with this project. It truly is a beautiful room. We are always in need of volunteers around the church. There are openings in the church services teams. If you can help call Diana at 362-2549. Thanks in advance. We now have the assisted hearing devices installed in the Sanctuary. If you have been unable to hear the service this will help. Come see how they work. Thank you to James Choat for making our new kneeling bench and hearing device holders. The LCRL Youth Group is back! Beginning September 9th, they will be meeting on Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m. Come enjoy music, fellowship, dinner and Bible study.
Simple
Assistance is a community outreach program which provides volunteer
services for LCRL members and friends of members of our church who cannot
do certain tasks. Worship is at 10:15 a.m. each Sunday morning and we have regular liturgy in a predominantly traditional manner using Lutheran Book of Worship. We normally have short children’s sermon/moment and partake of communion on a weekly basis. Sunday School starts at 9:00 a.m. every Sunday morning.
