Mission Statement:

We are a fellowship of forgiven and forgiving sinners who have found a new way to live as imperfect people in an imperfect world by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. If you are looking for a church home we would like to have you as a member.

    The Mission of LCRL is to grow in Jesus Christ’s spirit through forgiveness, prayer, praise, thanksgiving, witness, and service. To fulfill this mission, we believe that we must study, teach and live God’s word, using the gifts of the Holy Spirit, accepting all people and ministering to them according to their needs. If you visit us, you will find that we are a compassionate congregation, almost to a fault.

LCRL Choir Mission Statement:

We are a diverse group of music lovers who like to sing and want to enhance our worship services at Risen Lord. Because God knows our hearts, He will forgive our flaws and we pray the congregation will too. We furthermore hope that our musical praises will light fires in peopled hearts, put smiles on peoples faces and better enable the Body to praise God through music. Because this is our mission we ask that there be no applause -- for we are "making a joyful noise" as Psalm 100:1-3 tells us:

"Make a JOYFUL NOISE to the Lord all you lands. Serve the Lord with GLADNESS. Come before His presence with SINGING. Know that the Lord He is God: It is he who has made us, and not we ourselves. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture."
