Duties: Oversight of all church business. Coordinate with all council members, Pastor & staff. The President is responsible for church sponsored activities such as Food Pantry, ESL, Hope Keepers and Peace Keepers. Also responsible for Church financial management. Ex Officio member of LCRL Foundation Board.
Duties: All Saints Day, LYO Youth & Jr. Lutherans Camp, Easter Egg Hunts. Must schedule Youth Services such as trips, Youth Retreat, Youth Policies and Procedures, Releases etc. Also responsible for Youth fund raisers.
Duties: Advertising, visitation with non-members, non-member packets and classes. As the Recording Secretary sends cards to visitors, contacting members absent 3 or more weeks. Canvassing & Prospects coordinator, maintaining an ongoing visitation program and record completed calls.
Duties: All Worship Services. Alter & Communion supplies - Alter flowers & palm (Palm Sunday). Acolytes and Acolyte training. Organist, music director and equipment. Alter Guild - Ushers, Lectors, Greeters etc. Wedding & Candle Light service and nursery.
Duties: Budget management, counting Offering, ordering & distributing Offering envelopes. Stewardship drive (Sept) and Education. Audit, compile budgets, financial statements, check signers.
Duties: 1st Communion Class & Confirmation. Sunday School & Bible study. Vacation Bible School & Rally Day. Responsible for Teacher & leadership training; family night on Wednesday.
Duties: Lenten Dinners, Funeral meals and Wedding receptions. Church Picnic and Progressive Dinners; any special dinners or Pot Luck's. Responsible for Council Retreat, Graduation & Confirmation celebrations. Also, purchasing for dinners & kitchen, coffee bar.
Duties: Sexton. Purchase of property supplies, floors, walls, fixtures. Responsible for extermination, heating & cooling, plumbing & electrical, lawns, trees etc. Also, signs, building and parking lot and use of outside facilities. |
